However, we're back with an exciting new update, and there will be many more updates to come on a regular basis from here on out. Here’s what's new in version 10.0.0: Support for the Windows Virtual Desktop service. A new Connection Center UI. Manage Mac computers on your network with Apple Remote Desktop (ARD). Learn more with these resources. Get the Remote Desktop client. Follow these steps to get started with Remote Desktop on your Mac: Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop client from the Mac App Store. Set up your PC to accept remote connections. (If you skip this step, you can't connect to your PC.) Add a Remote Desktop connection or a remote resource. Microsoft remote desktop sends wrong symbol keys. I'm using Microsoft Remote Desktop 8.0.9 from the app store and connecting to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003 based PCs. Although alphanumeric keys work properly, when I type certain symbol keys into the remote computer they come out as the wrong keys, it seems like a mapping issue. When using Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac to connect to a Windows 7 PC, how do I 'press' the Windows Key on the remote machine? I cannot find an emulation sequence in the help text that is assigned to the Windows Key.
